Hotel Metropole

I had a great experience here, my room had a beautiful view of the harbor. Whenever I asked for something at the front desk, the staff was very friendly and I had no trouble at all. The bathroom had a view from the tub directly out to the water, which made using the bathroom awkward with 3 other people in the hotel room. I wish that there was a more solid disconnect between the main room and the bathroom, but that's my only complaint. Clean place, and the hotel itself is right next to food and shopping.

We stayed for a weekend in one of the ocean view rooms. Rooms are very comfortable. Location is very convenient. Short walk from the ferry. Hotel facilities are great. Friendly staff.

We loved our room here! What a wonderful place to stay with friendly service! We brought our e-bikes which can be a pain but honestly they were so accommodating and it was so worth it to bring them. The rooms were large enough that we put them in the room.

We had a wonderful getaway at this hotel!! we traveled for an anniversary and it was so relaxing and pleasant to stay at. It is a very beautiful place. In the evenings I listened to music from my balcony. Nice music combined with the views was the ideal atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning with fresh juice was my favorite part of each day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Beds are comfy, and service was good. You can't check in till 4 but they will hold your luggage when you arrive. Great view from the ocean superior room. Walk to everything. The elevator view is beautiful. Hot tub on the roof leaves much to be desired, but it's warm. Overall great place to stay

I go to Catalina several times a year and have stayed in many of the hotels. This hotel was by far the best I have stayed in. Everything was like brand new and the staff - especially Vanessa was beyound helpful in making our stay a great experience. We were there to celebrte our 35 wedding anniversay and evertyhing went perfect. The one other feature is the hotel had an elevator. Most hotels do not have this feature. Thanks Vanessa for all your help and making this trip a great experience. We will be back. Mike

One of the best hotels we've ever been to! Clean, cozy, super friendly staff, great room service and on top of that high water pressure. There were some issues with noise but the front desk took responsibility and handled it in the best possible way. Vanessa and Mike at the front desk were truly stellar.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The VIP rooms are beautiful! The Staff is courteous and gracious. I truly enjoyed my stay there. Will come back again. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is pretty good for the price. Stayed here almost a week ago and was pretty satisfied. You're VERY close to most stores and restaurants. Staff was always nice. Housekeeping checked in everyday when u needed them. Only thing I have to say is about the air unit in the room. Evert time it switched on, it sounded like a bad motor was starting up. Unfortunately, it's the summer so we needed it on continuously. Definitely woke me up at night. But other than that, it was a good stay.

Very quaint and romantic hotel overlooking the bay in Avalon. Easy access to all of Avalon. The hot tub was nice with a view of the harbor. Monstrous tub/shower and the room was large with a working fireplace. Staff was friendly and it was a perfect spot to stay on Catalina. Laundry machines are onsite if you need them. Free Continental breakfast, although I recommend grabbing a local breakfast there is a great Cafe at the hotel and several good local breakfast spots.
